The National Jamboree is a country wide scouting event. Taking place at the Summit Betchel Reserve in West Virgnia every 4 years. The massive 10,600 acre reserve provides the average scout almost endless activities to fill their day. The biggest activities include: shooting sports, rock wall climbing, many kinds of aquatic activities, and ziplines. Scouts will also experience the summit apex and leadership heights programs.
Another huge part of Jamboree is patch trading, Scouts will receive patches that can be traded with other patches from different troops. This can provide an opportunity for scouts from all over America to get to know one another.
Though it may seem strenous on occasion, the National Jamboree will provide Scouts with memories to be cherished together forever.
