The Scout troop had an awesome boating adventure at Hover Dam in Arizona. On Saturday, we got to see the amazing dam and learn about first aid, which was really helpful. Then, on Sunday, we went kayaking down the Colorado River for 13 miles! We started at the very bottom of the dam. It was so cool to go into the hot springs along the way. But, we also learned about a scary thing called an amoeba that lives in the water and can eat your brain if you get it up your nose! So, we made sure to be careful and not let any water get up our noses. Overall, it was a really fun and educational trip.
