Peppersauce Caves

Our troop had an amazing adventure exploring Peppersauce Cave and camping in the beautiful foothills of Mt. Lemmon near Tucson. At first, we accidentally entered the wrong cave opening—quickly realizing it was far too tight to fit through! After finding the correct entrance, the Scouts ventured inside to discover the fascinating underground passages of Peppersauce. Everyone had such a great time that another crew returned later in the afternoon to explore the “Rabbit Hole,” one of the deeper sections of the cave. By the end of the day, our shoes were muddy, our clothes were dirty, and we all had stories to tell from an exciting day of spelunking!
